OT-LAITE OY Comprehensive Care from Planning to User Training OT-Laite Oy specialises in the electrification and automation of sawmills. We supply complete systems including process planning, equipment manufacture, installation, testing, start-up and user training. Most of the largest sawmills in Finland are equipped with customised control and automation systems delivered by OT-Laite. We supply the complete design, electrification, instrumentation and PLC-based control system on a turn-key basis. The control system is mostly connected to the main computer and has also access to other control systems. Data logging and reporting options can be included, as well. Process Control OT-Laite supplies systems for controlling the rotation speed of saws and chipper canters to achieve optimal efficiency and chip quality. Measurement and Optimisation Systems OT-Laite has developed a cutter control system consisting of a pattern computer, PLC and servo control equipment. The system can be used both in new and in existing sawmills.
